The money changing service (“Service”) is provided by Changi Travel Exchange Pte Ltd (hereinafter known as “CTE”), an authorised Major Payment Institution by the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
 

On choosing the Service from us, you confirm, and it is deemed that you have read, understood and fully accepted all the terms and conditions laid down by CTE in this Terms & Conditions, the Terms of Use and agree to be bound by them and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
 

This Terms and Conditions applies to the Service by CTE.
 

1.              All definitions and Terms of Use shall be applicable and have the same meaning in this document. Where such Terms of Use conflict with any part of this document, such Terms of Use shall prevail.
 

2.              The Service is only available to individuals aged 18 years and above, who is a resident in Singapore and accessing the Service from Singapore. The Service may only be used to order Foreign Currency (“FC”) for personal or business travel and not for speculative, investment or any other purposes. Such facilities are not intended to be an advisory. We accept no responsibility or liability which may arise from reliance on such services by any visitor to the www.changirecommends.com or by anyone who may be informed of any of its contents.
  

3.              We shall use reasonable care in providing the Service. However, we shall not be liable to you under any circumstances for the following:
 

 
 

The Service is only available for the currencies as listed from time to time on the online ordering screen. Order of FC are subject to a minimum value of SGD 300.00 and a maximum value of SGD 4,999.00 in a day. Currency availability may also be affected due to other monetary limits and currency exchange restrictions in specified countries being visited. Customers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those relating to anti-money laundering regulations.
 
 

All the rates stated on the website are real time and are subject to changes without prior notice. The rates are only considered secured once payment is made.
 

All orders are to be picked by the customer at the pickup location selected by them during the ordering stage. Any changes in pickup time/date/location are to be notified by the customer to the customer support at least 24 hours in advance. Any such requests are subjected to approval from the customer support team.
  

For orders placed and paid before 1100HRS on a business day, the earliest delivery date will be the same day from 1800HRS onwards. For orders placed and paid before 1100HRS on a non-business day, the earliest delivery will be the next business day from 1800HRS onwards. For orders placed and paid after 1100HRS (business or non-business day), the earliest delivery date will be the next business day 1800HRS onwards. 
 
Business days: Mondays - Fridays (excluding Public Holidays)
 
Once payment is made for an order, the relevant rates are fixed for that respective order and CTE will safeguard the rate and the requested foreign amount order till the order is handed over to the customer on the requested date.
  

To place an order, follow instructions on screen after entering www.fx.changirecommends.com .Customer will be able to input their personal information, correct any errors or cancel your order up to the point at which you click on "Continue to Pay" on the “Currency selection and & Personal Details” page. Customer will then be navigated to “Order Review & Payment” page where they will be provided two payment options, a unique PayNow QR code & Paynow UEN details to make payment for their order within twenty minutes. As exchange rates are subject to changes as per market condition, rates that appear on the payment page shall be final.
 

Information requested for submission of order is essential for processing the order. We also reserve the right to request further information from you at any time to enable us to complete your order and/or to comply with regulatory requirements. We follow our own systems to authenticate each transaction and may, at any time, decline to process your order or any part thereof for any reason. By placing an order, you confirm that the details are correct.
  

Once payment for an order is made, the system will display a confirmation screen setting out the details of your order. This confirms your order. A contract between you and us is formed only when we send you an “Order Confirmation” email that funds/ payment has been accepted. The “Order Confirmation” email will consist of the official receipt. Please print a copy of the confirmation screen for your records and print or store the confirmation email for your records. If you do not receive a confirmation number and / or email, it is likely that your order has not been received or that your order has not been accepted. In this case, please contact our customer support team at fx@changirecommends.com.sg.
 

Please note that order details cannot be amended / cancelled once you have clicked on “Confirm your order” and no refunds shall be granted. The charges (if any) collected at the time of booking the deal will not be refunded.
 

OUR RIGHT TO CANCEL

Notwithstanding any payment or Order Confirmation sent, we may refuse, withdraw or cancel your order at any time for any reason, including: (i) if we reasonably suspect that your order has been placed for speculative gain, investment or business purposes; (ii) if there have been significant fluctuations in the exchange rate market following the placing of your order; (iii) if we quote you a rate that is clearly a mistake on our part, as the result of a technical or human error; (iv) to ensure regulatory requirements are met; or (iv) if your order fails our internal security checks.

 

If we do cancel your order, we will notify you of this as soon as reasonably possible and provide you with a refund for any order that you paid for but did not receive.

 

Please visit our and CTE’s Privacy Policy to find out how we collect and use your personal information. By using the services of CTE, you consent to such collection and use and warrant that all information provided by you is accurate. You agree that we may use personal information provided by you to conduct appropriate anti-money laundering measures.
 
 

1.              By using or visiting this feature and creating any kind of order or request for FC, you are explicitly giving us and CTE and their channel partners the permission to send out communications to you via call, email, Whatsapp messages or SMS regarding your order or regarding marketing promotions that are being carried out by us.
  

2.              You are hereby notified that you must be well aware of the rules & regulations and the risks involved in booking foreign exchange products.
  

3.              You are believed to have read and to have understood these terms herein as well as all eligibility criteria and other formalities applicable to the Service being offered and undertake to abide by the same and do not dispute them.
  

4.              That if any discrepancy is detected in the documents furnished by you at any time of applying for foreign exchange or the details as furnished by you are found to be incomplete or inaccurate, which inaccuracy, discrepancy or error are detected at any stage of the process, or it is found that the order completed by us is in violation of any applicable laws, rules, regulations, notifications, guidelines, ordinances, we reserve our right to not to process the order. 
  

5.              We shall not be held liable for any act done by our officers, employees, representatives, assigns, agents etc. which is beyond the scope of their engagement or their duty. We do not charge any commission or extra fee for the purposes of expediting your transactions. We shall not be liable for any person including our officers, employees, representatives, assigns, agents etc misrepresenting the same to you by illegally or inappropriately rendering any services not offered on the website, you are advised to report such incidents, with full details, to fx@changirecommends.com.sg.
 
 

CTE makes no warranty, representation or undertaking of any kind either express or implied, nor does it assume any legal liability, whether direct or indirect regarding the website, its content, products or services, all of which are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. You expressly agree that the access and use of the website and the services is at your sole risk.
  

CTE expressly disclaims any representation or warranty either express or implied, including, without limitation, that the website will be free from errors, viruses or other harmful components, that communications to or from the website will be secure and not intercepted, that the services and other capabilities offered from the website will be uninterrupted or error free, or that defects will be corrected, or that its content will be accurate, useful, complete or timely. We make no warranty that the website will meet your requirements.

Our maximum liability to in you in respect of each use of the service for an order shall be to refund the purchase price of that order.

CTE is licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore to provide money changing service. Please note that this does not mean you will be able to recover all the money you paid to CTE, if CTE's business fails.
